Special! (Solberg 2017) – (Sport of ‘Sun Shower’ X ‘Designer Genes’ seedling) – Medium, (14” X 30”) For me, the perfect hosta is yellow with a dark green margin. I just love that combination of color. This seedling of mine from my “Longiana” breeding sported its green edge right away with its second division. One yellow division, one with a green margin. I fell hard for it, but while love sometimes goes smoothly along, sometimes it is a struggle. Without going into all the details, propagation has been fraught with problems, including the plant being lost and found. Now we have it again and I can offer it to you as a special limited offering. You too will love its bright yellow spring color, purple petioles, and sturdy substance.
